You may or may not like basketball but if you ever read the news during the summer of 1992 of the mens basketball olympic gold medal dream team  you surely would be a fan. In my honest opinion I believe that was one of the greatest teams ever assembled for a sports team as they completely dominated the competition to win the gold medal for the United States. The team consisted of Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Christian Laettner, Karl Malone, Chris Mullin, Scottie Pippen, David Robinson, John Stockon and coach Chuck Daly. Even though each player was its own all star in his own light they all melded together to create perfect synergy and cohesion. Watch some of their amazing highlights here

The reason why I bring up the dream team as an example is show that not only assembling a great team can lead to success in basketball but its a crucial element in your real estate business. You can not do ever element of this business all by yourself and become real successful. Their is way to many parts, this is where your real estate dream team comes in. Your dream team can be a numerous amount of professionals but here are the most common that you will be using.

  • Mortgage Brokers (possibly hard money guy, private money guy as well)
  • Real Estate Agents
  • Attorneys
  • Contractors
  • Insurance guy
  • Other Investors (wholesalers, rehabbers, bird dogs)
  • Mentor or consultant
  • Accountant
  • Other real estate professionals that provide support. This list goes on...

Even if you do not have direct contacts with all these types of professionals the few that you do have good relationships most likely can steer you in the right direction on who to connect with. Developing relationships especially with other real estate professionals can possible be one of the more important things you can do because having great teams can bring you to new heights.
