The Positive Attitude for the Weary Soul group has long since been a group to go to when the soul got weary and where we could all go to read positive and inspirational posts to lift our spirits!  I thought about this for a few days and after so many emails and phone calls I decided to do something positive for all my friends and the members of the group.

Let's fill that cup...instead of just looking at it half full!!!!

As you all know, all the groups have guidelines to follow and I purposely did not allow the Localism, market reports, stats and advertising in the group for the last year. I know that the Localism changes have been a shock to a lot of us and until they get it straight I wanted to do something for all of you that need a place for your Localism posts.

If you do not know what Localism is about click here...  www.localism.com  and it's where our Local Area tidbits about our neighborhoods, highlights of our area and such go. Before posting we make a choice to post to CONSUMER and click on the state and county of where our area posts are located.

In any event, when I sent out a GROUP email earlier there were a few who thought it was a personal email. It was NOT. It was a GROUP email reiterating that just because we are allowing Localism posts it does not mean to use the group as a dumping ground for market reports (meaning only numbers and stats), listings and self promotion.

What you also may enter into the group are local area neighborhood info with some homes/ condo info with a few market stats. Make it positively interesting! COPY / PASTE and plagiarized posts (even from your mls sites) have not been allowed in the past and will continue not to be.

As always, the main purpose of this group is to give positive feedback and inspirational/positive posts. Please read the Guidelines and Rules for Posting: Positive Group (Updated) as well as the Respecting Group Rules & Guidelines so you can better understand the group.

Also, my current PAWS moderators include myself, Brian Block -- Northern Virginia & D.C. Real Estate, Kathy McGraw ~ Calif Broker and Gary Woltal - REALTOR® Dallas Ft. Worth  who will continue to help keep this a wonderful group with only positive inspirational posts. We're alive and full of spirit so let's do something with it!

I hope this clarifies the GROUP email I sent earlier for those that did not understand. Should you have questions please don't hesitate to ask any one of us or members who have been here a long time who know the ropes.....better than doing the assumptions. :) Have a great night!\

Thanks Sally, you are doing such a great job with this group. I will plan to post only positive and fun Localism posts to PAWS...up until now I wasn't posting any Localism posts to your group so this will be great.

Sally - what a wonderful picture to illustrate the "cup" half full. Judging from the size of "cup" you have provided you are expecting a lot of help in filling it.

People seem to think that when they get these group emails that it's personally to them...I have sent out a few regarding group guidelines or an invitation and they always seem to send me back stuff like I'm sorry or I won't do it again...I've even gotten confused when I get my own email and think I need to say sorry to myself:). But I hope you know now you'll probably get all kinds of stuff that doesn't belong...I hope it works out.

Sally, I'm grateful for both your new group and Jo's group.  I think many of us were feeling Localism sadness, I have seen many of my posts gone.  This was a wonderful idea and I'm looking forward to it, thank you!

Sally,

You were the first person to provide some useful and constructive comments when I jumped in the Rain pool a year ago.  Thanks for PAWS!  You have a world of thankful admirers here in the Rain, and I'm one of those!

What do you mean by "COPY / PASTE and plagiarized posts (even from your mls sites)"?  Do you mean the photos, or the descriptions of other agent's listings?  I mean, I assume we can't submit the listings of other agents, but are you just clarifying that, or saying not to use those photos?
