That's what happens when you are up at 3am writing on Active Rain. One of the negatives of being a creative type person is my mind never sleeps and often wakes me out of a sound sleep to either work on another marketing program or sometimes just write a song.
So what is an IREA, an Internet Real Estate Agent? Of course since this is my term, I also get to write the definition...which can also change! :) An IREA is a person who understands that in the ever changing Real Estate marketing world, the Internet is the most cost effective means of generating long term business. An IREA also has the knowledge to generate traffic to their website with the purpose of generating leads. Once a lead is generated, an IREA has had the training and experience in converting that lead to a customer for life. An IREA generates at least 50% of their businss from the Internet. It's all very simple yet to obtain the knowledge to become an IREA, can take years. It took me over 5 years to really get a handle on all the issues that go along with running a company strictly on Internet marketing alone. My trainees are lucky, they get to save the thousands and thousands of dollars I spent to get it right. Luckily, all along the way I continued to earn a good living as a Realtor and now Broker.
So now you know what I consider to be an Internet Real Estate Agent. Over the next few months as we continue to develop this training program, my definition might change. However, it shouldn't change to much!
