Steve-thanks for the comment.  I have a lot of sorting of old posts to do and perhaps some retagging as well.  Hopefully it will all come together!

William-I think the hardest part of the AR outside blog is deleting old posts that don't fit the theme or audience.

Penny-she used to do a bit of this for other agents in my office when she lived local.  The great thing about the internet is you can do everything virtually!

Ted-I look forward to getting all of my old posts cleaned up and creating some that really fit the new blog.

Stephanie-there have been a number of posts about how to set up an outside blog.  I have discovered that the VFlyers are to big for the current template.  So I am going to leave them off for now.

Adam-your relocation posts are great.  The trick is that we all have to go back and individually delete all of the old posts that don't fit, at least if you are doing as we are and targeting a particular audience.

Evelyn-the automatic default when you write a post is for it to go to the new "outside" blog.  It is set up to give you more google juice and hopefully bring more business your way.  I have decided to customize my outside blog and only but specific posts aimed at my target audience on that blog.  Hope that didn't confuse you more.

Teresa-tech savy kids, though my daugher is actually an adult, are the best tool a parent can have!

James-this never would have happened without my daughters skills.  I'm swamped with closings and finalizing the plans for the Occoquan River Festival.

Lori-thanks my daugther does deserve kudos on this one.  She did my originally website design as well and if she is reading this I'm about to ask her to do some redesign on that site as well.

Mark-mine has as well but after today, with a little clean up it won't be a total duplicate.

Shannon-hopefully the real rain has passed and you can enjoy a little time with the Active Rain. It doesn't seem as if there are enough hours to learn it all.

Diane-when AR set up the outside blog everything automatically was posted.  I'm in the process now of deleting posts that aren't relevant to the target audience.  I'm sure some will slip by but from now on all of my posts won't end up on the outside blog.

Scott-I've been very fortunate that business from my blogging has been brisk so far this year.  I have had 7 closings so far that I can attribute to blogging.

Courtney-I have a fantastic assistant!  I just wish she didn't live in the UK :-(

Christine-I'm actually going back through all my posts now and taking some of them OFF my outside blog.  I'm trying to have a little different focus for the outside blog.  It will be interesting to see if Google ranks them differently.

Jo-I'm hoping to bring more traffic to my outside blog by having it be more targeted than my general AR blog.  Of course I have another outside blog too so now I'm going to be very busy.

Russ-I think my daugher is willing to take on the challenges of more headers.  She is working on a plan to be able to provide services to others who might be interested.  She is virtual since she lives in the UK but the internet makes all possible.

Kate-I'm looking forward to putting my ideas together.  A lot of past work to clean up first before it all comes together.

Steven-it does seem at times that blogging takes over everything.  Then I remember that I have other things I have to do.  It can become a bit of an obsession!
