Training Camp

By
Real Estate Agent with Kendall Haney Realty Group

I traveled to Atlanta this past week to go to the Buffini Training Camp that Joe Niego was conducting.  It was certainly an interesting and wonderful experience.  I had to leave my home in Maryland at 3:30AM to catch a plan to Atlanta and then got back that evening at 10:30PM.

This is an event for their current clients but it was certainly worth the time and travel time.  It talked about the 7 Habits of the High Efficient Agent.  I came away with three things that I plan to work on at home to become a better agent.  One of those things is scheduling my work week and not letting my clients control my work week.

In my previous profession (BR, before real estate, as my 20-year old son refers to it) I scheduled myself.  I had defined working hours.  I had a life.  And you know what, I need that back.  Some of the best clients are those that I met through organizations that I participated in rather than organizations that I belong to and never show up.

So it's back to my book group, back to my running group ... back to having a life!  I'm so thrilled!!!!

Hi Dana,

Time management is something we all seem to need to work on.  I recently attended a two day Buffini event in San Diego called Turning Point.  It was excellent.
