In the "old days" before the time of the internet and the invention of the microchip, people actually had to learn a few of life's lessons the hard way. The first lesson I learned was that no matter how painful you must own up to your own mistakes and shoulder the burden. I have seen so many posts here from mortage lenders that say they are not to blame for the credit crunch we are in. Truth is most of them are not to blame. Truth also is that the federal government has filed charges against over 500 of them recently. Probably this is the tip of the iceberg.

The second lesson I learned was not to make the same mistake twice. Why are we bailing out the banks again. I feel as a taxpayer I am still paying for the last round of bank scandals.
