One in Seven Americans Aren't Mobile!

There was a time when being "out of touch" as just the norm, we didn't realize there was a problem. There was pagers, voice mai;, even others who could write down phone messages for us. Imagine being without our cell phone now!

Yeah, we have problems with dropped calls, areas we can't get a sial, dropping them in the toilet, but we deal & can't imagine being out of touch. Even if we don't need them as 'road warriors', we need to be able to be reached by our kids, spouses, volunteer obligations.

Let's face it in the 21st century we couldn't live without our electronics - DVD plays, video games, PC's, laptops, digital camersa, etc. and One In Seven Americans have found a way?! How?

My father refuses to touch a computer, and as an old school engineer, he made the young ones visiting his office at Boeing leave their calculators on a table outside his office. He would give them a slide rule...

Greg, I have relatives who, like your father, don't understand that there are younger people who without calculators, etc. can't function...for example, they never found a reason to learn math! I don't know if technology has really helped us or not. : )
