Active Rain does get much attention from Google! and rightly so.

I've seen my rankings in the top 2 or 3 within hours as well.

Hi Carole...you're way ahead of me with Blog Posts. Remember to use long tail key words in your description. I. E. I Google'd several versions of my new post, such as "Victoria 3 bedroom house with a basement" "3 bedroom house with a basement in Victoria bc" and they came up at the top of the page on Google..... pretty good search terms for Buyers.

I put info about my mom's home that was for sale in my blog, the next day, I was Google rank 3 (1 & 2 was her township) and the Realtor's info in their website (major Real Estate Company) was #6. Just goes to show you!

Hi Georgina...Wow you're a long from home, well I guess not.... the West Coast is only 5 hours away. I've been to Maui about 17 times and not been back since about 97. Great Place to Live, my cousin lived there for a while then left for California. He found it to hard to make a steady living in Real Estate. Fred believe it or not I have seen a few of my posts get indexed as quick as 6 minutes in Google!

Fred - see it does work now if it is also on your web site by address it will eventually replace the AR blog as they tend to slide after a while if there are other properties with similiar addresses in other cities that are on a web site.

When people talk about leads, this is the greatest source of leads. The connection between AR and the extra exposure it provides for our websites if used properly. If AR is driving people to my website that is a lead.

Hi Kathy...I agree, howeverer part of my plan is the other key word specific words in my blog that stick, such as 3 bedroom full basement house in Victoria, etc. Also refresh you posting it'll helps you stay on Top.

HI Not Yet Licensed...All My Posts here in the Rain are at the top in Google Fast with the Google Juice from the Rain. Yes I do some tweaking, especially with long tail key words to be found by other key word search in Google!
