Hi, from Texas, glad to see someone from OK, used to live in Ardmore, and OKC. I would probably go without the swags, JMHO. Great transformation though!
Things are crazy busy here, and all is good, can't complain, every day there is something new and different that comes up, it's never the same!
Nice!!! I love the transformation of the fireplace! My own fireplace needs to be updated, but hubby likes the brick, so I'll leave it till I can't stand it any more!
I like the photo of the bedroom through the mirror too! Very creative! The only thing I might do different is turn the lights and lamps on for the pictures.
Thanks Cindy! I will try that ASAP! When your hubby leaves paint the brick. He may not let you if you ask but if you do it he will love it!
Chris,
I think you'll like it better. Not only will it make your rooms look brighter, it will show your room's ambience. People can feel the warmth of the rooms through the photos and make them want to be there!
Oh, forgot to say that I told my hubby that you gave me permission to paint the fireplace, but he didn't go for that! LOL! He really doesn't care that much, he just knows that there's no turning back once it's done. He said one day it will be back in style...I told him that we'll be long gone from here in 20 years!
LOL! Bell bottoms came back for a second....I am not holding on to mine.LOL Good luck
HI Cindy, I love the reflection in the mirror of the luxurious bed. Nice shot.
I think there is too much happeing around the fireplace. The fireplace is the focal point and it looks like it is being used to store things on and around it. Try less is more and try using larger pieces for impact.
I agree with Cindy Bryant, lose the swags and never use anything that looks like that. Bare is better. ;)
Thank you Michelle! The "Never use anything that looks like that again!" was a real nice way to say how you really feel.
please stop by my web site www.creative-staging-solutions.com any time. More pictures to come.
I don't think the swags are terrible! But keep in mind when staging. Use large items to decorate. One big picture and a couple accessories on the mantle are better then lots of small items. Same is true for almost everything including wall decorations.
Hi Chris, I made a point of checking out your site as requested. Very nice work. Your swags are an anomaly. :)
Love your little butler in the kitchen, I will have to find me one like that. Adds fun and colour and is differnet from what I normally use. Thanks for sharing.
Chris,
Great transformation for this home! Congratulations and much success!
Thank you all for the nice and not so nice comments. I am glad I found this site!
