Widgets can be a fun application to jazz up and add extra value to your blog, website, emails, and even you social network profiles on MySpace, Facebook, etc. I'm sure you have seen them, but did you know they are easy to add?

With so much attention on Gas Prices, I've selected to use a Gas Price Widget as an example.

1. Click on the Grab It button or go to automotive.com. (more styles available on automotive.com)
2. Choose the service you want to apply the application. (there are several; myspace, facebook. etc.)
3. Follow Login Instructions to service.
4. Follow instructions (usually asks to post to profile?)

Note: if you don't see the service you want to apply the widget to, choose "embed" at the top right of the choose a service box. Copy the HTML code then paste it to the appropriate location in the application you have selected to add the widget.

There are thousands of widgets available, so have fun exploring. A few places to search for widgets are:
