BEST Business Personalities

Isn't it funny how we gravitate towards people who really bring us joy?

I have to say, with owning your own business you sometimes have the pleasure of setting your own schedule. Not always, but sometimes.

I LOVE Regis and Kelly Ripa. If we met in another lifetime, I think we'd be friends. Aren't they just FUN people? Who wouldn't love to do business with them?

We should take pointers from them:

1) Always smile. It's infectious!

2) Be kind to others. They'll be kind to you in return.

3) Show respect. There are times when talking is not the answer, and listening simply IS.

4) Laugh a little. Some of us take things too seriously. Life is a ride...enjoy it!

5) Get your teeth whitened - ha! Just because :)

You can laugh, but some of the little things I've learned and observed from Regis and Kelly.

A. Do YOU have a favorite show and what graviates yo towards that?

B. How can you adapt that to your business?

Good advice and I know that when you have a good personality people tend to want to be around you -- Happy people attract others!

Ha...so true Norma! If you look at the people you like to ahng out with...I'm guessing it isn't because they make you crabby :)

Beth, what a good point you have here. While I do think people can succeed despite themselves because they are just good at what they do, I think you can soar beyond normal success if you remain positive and upbeat and are pleasant to be around.

You've got a great business personality Beth because you're a great REAL person! I know you're a success no matter what you do and where you go because it's YOU people are buying and they've got the genuine thing. Wish we lived closer!

Beth--Smiling and being positive. Good qualities! I enjoy the Amazing Race....It is always fun to see how people overcome adversity and obstacles especially in other countries. Of course it is interesting to watch the interaction of the different teams too. The positive people always seem to be the ones that are able to work together the best in all of the challenges they face.

So true Teri! I haven't seen the amazing race but heard good things about it. I'll have to catch it sometime. A friend of mine went on a rather expensive trip that was kind of set uplike amazing race where they spent 27 days going to 11 different countries with various scavenger hunt like contests in each place. What a journey...and what fun!

Beth - a friend who was briefly in real estate commented to me that he had observed that everyone he knew in real estate who was successful had a really good personality. Look around, and you'll see it's true. There are some exceptions but even those curmudgeons must put on a smiling face when they're in front of their 'audience!'
