Ah...country living at its finest!  A well-loved home on just over an acre for sale, literally the first road over the Mecklenburg County NC line.  Located at 1160 Alvin Hough Road in Midland NC 28107, this home for sale offers convenience-a mere 5 minutes from I-485-and country living at the same time.

Sure, it needs some updating (unless you're the retro sort who likes brown appliances and original knotty pine paneling), but it's structurally sound and in move-in condition if you'd like to take on the updating projects over time.  The roof is only a year old, and was done well with architectural shingles.

For more information on this great opportunity, or for your private appointment, please call or email Leigh Brown directly.  We're always glad to help!

Well, I happen to love knotty pine panelling.  The brown appliances have to go though.

At that price, it should go quickly.

The house is in need of alot of updating. I am looking for a house and this would be perfect since my parents live right across the street! HOWEVER, we are young adults, and the our first home, so it would take alot of money to fix the place up, although I must say the 100% financing and NO PMI will really help someone! This is a huge relief to first time homebuyers since They (or I) can use the money saved up for a down payment  or closing costs to fix the house up a little. I think the outside shows really old, but if the inside has wood floors under the carpet, that can spruce up the house alot! A little paint goes a long way and the paneling can come down or be drywalled-not that expensive. Nice windows in the house, it feels larger. I dont like the chainlink fence...they used to have a visicious dog that lived there, so we loved the fence then! :) The land here is great though and location is nice. I agree with the other two about the appliances, theres a few thousand dollars spent from the get go! Nice house, althought the price seems pretty high since it needs alot of updating!
