There are some great news items for the real estate market and community in this area that have recently hit the news. #1 Of course the biggest news is that Volkswagen has selected Enterprise South in Chattanooga as its location for a new manufacturing plant which will bring 2000 plant jobs, 1 billion in direct construction spending and come on line in 2010. The estimates for additional supporting jobs ranges from 10,000 - 14,000. This is a big deal for our area. #2 Whirlpool is going to be adding 500 jobs to their Cleveland TN operation which is also great news!This should provide added stabilization for our local market that has been remarkably stable even in the general real estate downturn seen in the rest of the country!
