Doe Permits On Sale

Michigan Doe Permit application period is now open until August 15, 2008. Grand Traverse, and Antrim County are not issuing any permits for public or private land again this year in the hopes of increasing the herd in the area. Leelanau County will be issuing 400 permits for private land owners only.

Grand Traverse,Antrim and Leelanau Counties are great places to come to hunt for trophy bucks. The hunting pressure in these areas have been extremely light the past few years and there have not been any doe permits issued allowing a lot of button bucks to survive and become trophy size. www.mi.gov/dnr

Landprices have dropped considerably and now is a great time to take a look at buying some terrific hunting land. Give me a call or email for a list of great hunting parcels.
