Our Assignment for Week Eight, another challenge!

Part of our prize package for being selected as one of the Makeover2Takeover contest participants was to receive a FLiP video camera. So I expected at some point, we would have an assignment with Video!

And here it is..... I'm envisioning this "video" being broadcast to quite a few people... that makes me more nervous and I already was nervous about video! Did you watch my very first? It was with a webcam.

So I'm busily working on the video submission, you'll have to wait to hear more details about that. (pssst it's due on Friday 12noon PST)

The other part to our entry this week is to write a single-page Word document about the Value of a Realtor(R). I was hoping for some feedback.... if you've met me (Yeah for Teresa & Bob, Yay for North Carolina and my Buds!, and soon Inman/San Francisco!), you know that I can be a little 'gabby'. It's not easy summarizing the Value of a Real Estate agent into one Word Document...... here is a sneak peek - I'm still weeding it down a little.

Missy, can you read over it? See if I need to do anything different?

There was a really funny post months ago called something like "The Return Key Is Your Friend". Very good luck with the video and essays. I am looking forward to reading them. It's something we sort of know in our gut, but having to articulate the whole thing i(with eloquence) is pretty daunting!

Kim, okay so I needed to pull out the magnifying lense to read that one. Good luck on both the video and the write-up. Uh oh... the deadline is approaching.

Oh good luck to you with the video, Mr. Block. I'm sure you are having no problems and probably finished it a few days ago, huh...... Hard to narrow down everything I want to say!

Kim, can't say that I finished it a few days ago, but actually just wrapped it up last night after two long nights and about 8 hours of editing. Desiree tells me she's got all the filming done and the editing process will start this evening.

LOL...Okay I'll stay put...hurry up and post it! I can't wait to watch the videos!

Last night we did the video and of course we had to edit, I was ONLY able to get it down to 4.56 minutes. Today I tried again. It is now 7:00 and I have had 8 excedrin, 3 glasses of wine, slept for 6 hours, cried in my husbands arms and not left my computer ALL day.

Christa has kept me laughing, "Mom, you made it to Inman, now stop, this isn't Hollywood."

I look fat, too many wrinkles, use the word "so" too many times and am a mess.

My husband is walking around the house saying,"NO MORE CONTESTS". and you have a bad septic system.

The only thing that makes me smile is I know Des is freaking too.

Its almost over... you're in the home stretch. You can do it ladies!! I cant wait to see the final products. Good luck to you both!!

Missy my husband said the same thing~~ No more contest, you always wait till the last minute to do things. My best work comes out that way!!

Good luck to you guys on this final journey. My vote is for you guys to take the whole kit and kaboodle. I saw the video on missy page and it was great.
