Courtesy of our District 67 representative Ron Reagan:

If you are in Florida, need a lawyer for a civil matter (as opposed to criminal), and cannot afford to hire one, there is still a way to get access to the legal system. Go to http://www.flcourts.org/. Under the tab called General Public, click on Self Help. Then click on Free or Low-Cost Legal Aid, and you'll see a directory of agencies.

Or, just click here: Florida Legal Aid by county and you'll go straight to the county-by-county directory.

Bookmark it and you can forward it to your friends and clients if/when they need it -- they'll appreciate it.
