Tailgating before athletic events is a must here and it is taken very seriously. Fried Chicken, Potato Salad, Grills going, Televisions, Throwing the Football, Relaxing and Socializing! We do this every game- with friends and neighbors and a great time is had by all.
The University of Georgia is best known for football, but our Girls Gymnastics and our Girls & Boys Basketball programs are also wonderful!
And after our Georgia Bulldogs Hunker Down one more time as the legendary announcer Larry Munson said- "...we all go home with great family memories to speak of for years to come". I would encourage everyone to attend a University of Georgia Athletic event if you are in our area. The University of Georgia campus in Athens Georgia is beautiful and the people are wonderful.
