1. What a great way to start the day! Checking Realty Times, as I often do, it was wonderful to see an article titled HOT MARKET which is a feature about the Greenville-Spartanburg area.  The piece talks about how we are not, and have not followed the national downward trends regarding job growth and real estate.  According to the article, home prices are up 6%, pending sales are up, commercial vacancies have dropped 18%!  It also states that while banks around the nation are having trouble, local banks here are constructing new headquarters. Read it for yourself....

good Morning Susan, I have a friend in your area and I agree... you did not see some of the ridiculous growth that the rest of the country did... double digit price increases for a few years... fun while you are on the ride, but destine to make you lose your lunch when you get off... Slow steady growth is the healthiest for real estate, and your area was lucky enough to experience just that.
