The ironing board is up in the bedroom as I watch the local news and weather channel. Iron is getting hot and I run to my closet to grab the blouse that needs the touch up. My husband calls.........don't forget to let the carpet layer in at the rental property on George St.......he yells into the cell phone. All these years after getting his cell phone he still thinks he needs to yell in to it the farther away he gets. Yes sir, I am on the run and then thump!!!! Bang, zowy.yipes, I stub my little toe into the ironing board. I am just grateful the iron didn't fall over. Darn it! The toe really hurts... I think I broke it. No time! I have a price reduction to get at the clients place of business, the carpet installer to let in, tenants to deal with and seller and buyers all waiting for 'the magic' to happen. I love this business I keep saying between clenched teeth and pinky pain. I limp gingerly into my little black convertible and leave for my next adventure into REAL ESTATE LAND. Another day in the life!
