Massachusetts Real Estate blogs The concept of Active Rain incorporating an outside blog into their already popular platform was just ingenious.

As an Active Rain member you are now able to have all your posts sent to a new blog that is hosted on their servers. This new blog is another means of getting your voice out to the public. The look of this new blog is more consumer friendly.

My new blog is called Mass Real Estate Voice. The blog covers Real Estate in Metrowest Massachusetts including the following towns: Hopkinton, Southboro, Westboro, Milford, Holliston, Ashland, Upton, Mendon, Hopedale, Grafton, Northbridge, Medway, Douglas, and Framingham.

I also have another personal Real Estate blog that is on the blogger platform at Metrowest Massachusetts Real Estate. Please drop on by and make a few comments. I would love to see you all.

Hi Bill. It's great to hear that you are having such success in search engines. That is so important in today's market, and will only become more vital as technology and the web advance further. Active Rain blogs do well in search engines, and it is good to see this venue being used by so many agents. Haven't noticed the SEO benefits yet for the outside blogs, but perhaps that is still to come.

Hi Candis - The outside blogs are being indexed. I have seen a few of my posts already in the search engines. Of course it helps if you do a little SEO work to help the site along :)

But my AR posts & other blogs are still more prominent for the related search phrases. I'm sure it would help if I got a customized url for the AR outside blog, but not convinced yet whether it'll be worth it. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on things as they progress to see what developments come out of it all.

Candis - I would get a different URL if you really want to use this as another platform to market. Maybe that is not necessary though since to are marketing to Realtors?

Missy i think it is fantastic. There more ways to bring exposure for our clients the better!

Lynda - I would purchase another URL to get the most of of the new outside blogs.

Bill - I created one too pretty quickly but I haven't had time to really look at the stats and see who is coming from where lately. I am hoping to get to to that later today.

Steve - it is great to see how quickly the new site was indexed. My Mass Real Estate Voice started showing up in the serps within a few days.

Bill, I love your banner on your outside AR blog - very very nice! I didn't put much thought into mine and think I need to do some tweaking. Yours looks so good!!

Gita - I would work on getting your outside blog completed. The search engines will pick it up quickly giving you another tool to promote your clients homes.
