In this business as in life, you have to look for humor where ever you can find it, share it and LOL as those laughs are supposed to be extremely good for you.

This cartoon was in The Greenville News, editorial section this morning and I had to laugh out loud when I saw it. This may help diffuse some of the angst that is showing up on Active Rain right now on this subject.

What has happened has happened. . . . Let's move on. Better oversight of the loan industry and more stringent regulations will be necessary for it to change, and that will be an evolving process. Do we wish it had not happened - of course we do, Homeowners,Realtors and many reputable Lenders, affiliated businesses as well. Many people have been hurt by this and that pain may not be over. There are always a few bad apples in any profession and I still say most of what happens does so from the "top down" and how that company is being managed. Many reputable lenders, individuals I deal with, were still being conservative in the loans they made. It comes from the top, as does the culture of any business.

What we need in this world is a change in business and personal culture to an ethically based method of doing business. That would solve a lot of problems.  In the event you cannot read it, the caption says
