This is my latest real estate listing in the Brandon section of Virginia Beach.  The houses are mixed with homes that are attached and homes that are detached.  Most of the homes are attached only at the garage so no living space is shared.  I think it actually works out pretty good if you have to have an attached home.  Below are two photos that I took of the exterior.  The only thing I did different was to move a little bit and zoom in some in on the second picture.  The second picture is the one I used in the MLS.  Which do you think shows the house better?

I like the second photo best.  I've done this before, cropped off the attached garage and house.  It makes it look much better.

Gene, I can see why you would use the second picture.  Do the people understand before they go and look that it is attached with another home at the garage?

Interesting choice, Gene.  I like the angle of the living quarters in the first image, So I tried just cropping the garage out.  It made the trash containers appear to be more prominent.

Marchal, yes they do know it is attached.  The area has both attached and detached making it hard to market the house on the MLS.  Often newer agents and some of older guys forget that attached homes are in with the detached.  Sometimes agents will put the attached under the detached to market them.

Ted, I did the angle on the second picture because I wanted to show how large the front yard is or looks to be.
