Vimeo, Youtube, Google Video Where do I store my Video?

For those of us that were cleaned from Vimeo two weeks ago, what is left.  Even Youtube no longer allows video over 10 minutes and even so,  does youtube really create the right kind of traffic for Listing Videos and Real Estate Video Blogging?

I am really starting to think that I might just self host listing video along with using Wellcomemat, Google Video and ZIPVO.

No. Contrary to what people may think, hosting your own video is bad for business as a realtor, broker, or even video producer. Unless your are in the content delivery business, the value for hosting your own video is minimal. Bandwidth costs, scaling, load balancing, etc can be a headache and should be left to the professionals (engineers). I laugh when video producers mention of hosting videos themselves. When I think of that, I immediately believe they do not want to grow their business (unless they want to move into the crowded CDN space).

YouTube doesn't really create the right kind of traffic for real estate videos. Plus I think it is against their TOS to publish commercial content. However I doubt they will ever take action.

Supposedly from the chatter at Connect and RE Barcamp, there is supposedly a new video player dedicated to RE brewing in the works. If I recall correctly, they're former YouTube engineers?

Ted,

I haven't checked Vimeo so see if my videos are gone. I do like to use Activerain video(Mixpo) here lately.
