Sacramento Rivercats' Wives Host Food Drive

The wives of the Sacramento River Cats baseball team are teaming up to collect canned goods for the Sacramento Food Bank during Saturday's game at Raley Field.

My husband and son went out to the ballpark this week to watch a good baseball game between the L.A. 51S and the Sacramento Rivercats’. Although the Rivercats’ lost there was something good that happened, the show of good will towards all through the food drive that was lead by the wives of the Rivercats’ players. It just goes to show that even when things in the stock market, housing market and personal finances seem to be going to hell at times, we as Americans will still pull together to help one another.

So, my charge to you this week is to encourage you to help just one other person out in some way that would be an unexpected blessing.
