I had just finished a Hard Day's Night of Real Estate at my office... RE/MAX Trinity in Fort Worth. It was a pretty hot day in Fort Worth, Texas. Lots of things to do... follow-up, customer and client call-backs, taking my cat... Mollie T Cat for a walk... and finally, it was time to pull in the sidewalk, and find a place to relax.
That's when it hit me... right between the taste-buds. I had seen Boomer Jacks several times during the last few weeks
Several folks had been talking about it in the office. After all... i was right around the corner from my office in the Newly Gorgeous Montgomery Plaza building on W. 7th Street in Fort Worth.
Sooo... I decided to give it a try. And Yikes... was I glad I did. Boomer Jack's curb appeal is enormous, thanks to patio seating and giant doors and windows opening onto the brick driveway that slices through the center of the historic building now called Montgomery Plaza. Leather and wood interiors are featured inside, and there are plasma high-def TV's everywhere you look.
I am told the place went totally nutz during the NCAA March Madness tournament just a few months ago... and once the Mavericks start their new season, it is sure to return to Basketball Mayhem.
Fancy drinks or a wide variety of icy-cold beer will chase away your thirst quicker than you can say "Boomer Jacks." Bone-in or boneless chicken wings, grilled panini sandwiches, ham and swiss, grilled chicken, and the crowd favorite turkey breast with a generous slobbering of roasted bell peppers, grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms and provolone cheese will just about yummy-cise your taste buds more than you could imagine.
So if you're looking for a great place to down-shift from a typical high-gear day... Boomer Jacks in the New/Old Montgomery Plaza building at 2600 W. Seventh St (right around the corner from my RE/MAX Trinity office) is the place to be. Come find out for yourself !
