Michigan House Hunting

As a real estate agents we do many things to help sell a home.  But one of the most important things is to help the buyers see the complete home.  To let the Michigan home buyer go through it without being rushed, distracted, or hurried.

So one of my favorite things is to keep the kids occupied while the parents are looking.  When a child is tugging on mom's arm, or crying it is hard for mom to look at the house.  Lately I have had several families with kids.  I am now loading my car with toys for the kids to play with.  Sometimes it is as simple as swinging the kids on a swing while the parents are looking at the outside.  Or rocking them in a chair.  Here is one of my many satisfied customers.

All This Michigan House hunting is tiring me out.  Mom are you through looking at the kitchen yet?

Kuddos to you. I on the other hand don't like to deal with children. Especially the ones that won't listen to the parents.

Did someone say Rug Rats? I loved that show. It is tough enough for mom and dad to spend that much money, kids are best left with a siiter.

Does anyone know when children were given the deciding vote on a home?  I long for the good old days when we, as children, were told "this is your new home" and there is your room".  If we didn't like it we always had the option of staying behind in the old house by ourselves !!    I let my buyers know that the children would be happier left with a sitter or grandparent.

I love it when the kids come along. They seem to be able to find all of the fun spots. You certainly found a happy jr. client in this one.

Russ, to cute! I'm not sure if it's in the job description but it's something that has to be done.

I bring coloring books and washable crayons, so even if they accidentally color on something they aren't supposed to it will wash up with just water and a napkin. The parents love it, as it gives them time to look at the home.
