1. Take one capful  and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily,
 then spit it out.

No more canker sores and your teeth will be whiter without
expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash. (Small print
says mouth wash and gargle right on the bottle)

2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of
"Peroxide" to keep them free of germs.

3. Clean your counters, table tops with peroxide to kill
germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your
dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

4 After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour
peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.

5. A 50-50 mixture of peroxide and water, applied to the feet will kill foot fungus.

6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to
ten minutes several times a day.

 7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and
water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without
harming your septic system like bleach or most other
 disinfectants will.

 8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your
50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold, or plugged sinuses.
It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few
minutes then blow your nose into a tissue.

9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a
dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your
mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The
 pain will lessen greatly.

10. And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair,
spray the 50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and
comb it through. You will not have the peroxide burnt blonde
hair like the hair dye packages, but more natural highlights
if your hair is a light brown, reddish, or dirty blonde. It
also lightens gradually so it's not a drastic change.

11. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help rid
boils, fungus, or other skin infections.

12. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to
a load of whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is
blood on clothing, pour directly on the soiled spot. Let it
sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water.
 Repeat if necessary.

13. Use peroxide to clean  mirrors. There is
 no smearing.

It is a little brown bottle no home
should be without! With prices of most necessities rising,
I'm glad there's a way to save tons of money in
 such a simple, healthy manner.

13 Comments on Keeping Your Home Clean and Your Family Germ Free Using Hydrogen Peroxide! Who Knew?-(321) 956-2495 STAGE it RIGHT!

Thank you for all the great tips. It's funny that we buy so many other products when 1 bottle of this will do so much.

Terry ~ I had no idea Hydrogen Peroxide had so many uses.  Thanks for sharing these tips!

Shhh, the price will go up as soon as everyone discovers the many miracles this liquid in the modest brown bottle can perform.  I'm a big fan and have been a user for years.

David, that and a bottle of white vinegar are all we need to do our cleaning and laundry.  How much more environmentally friendly is that?!

Shirley, you're welcome.

Kathy, we stagers gotta stick together!

Norma, I learned many of these "tricks" from my grandmother, have used them for years as well.  I never could buy into the cleaning product mindset, when everything I need is in two bottles.  The other being white vinegar.

Terry, good post.  Our family started doing this about six months ago.  Our daughter's teacher actually suggested it.  I must say it takes some getting used to though

These tips are great and very useful.  I recently had a mole on my forehead that I tore while brushing my hair.  I got online and guess what...vinegar is known to remove moles..and guess what after 10 days that mole..beauty mark whatever you want to call it is gone...gone...gone...

I have to say..I mixed garlic and perioxide for my toothache which occured over the 4th of july weekend saved me from committing murder due to the pain...I was able to function..until I could get to the dentist monday morning...and got that tooth pulled that same day!

It was the combination of the perioxide and the garlic which prevented severe infection. Thanks for the tips..in our household...rather than run to the doc..we try more natural measures!

Tim, anything new takes getting used to.  When I was a kid, there basically were no cleaning products, so peroxide, vinegar and rubbing alcohol were what everyone used.  I say ditch the toxic household products and start anew with the tried and true methods our grandmothers used.

Midori, I have heard garlic has anti-bacterial properties, as does white vinegar.  We too strive for the natural remedies before we resort to anything else.  The most toxic thing I have in my house is an AJAX type cleanser.  One more helpful tip Midori, honey can be used as a wound dressing.  In the absence of honey, sugar mixed with something to make it stick, like neo-sporin, is also a tried and true wound dressing.

I tried the vinegar on my tooth..garlic and the peroxide really help the pain.  Vinegar is bad for the enamel of your teeth so after reading that I decided not!  They say garlic is also a pain reliever and a natural bug repellent!  We used to give our dog garlic in his food because he was an outside dog!  It really helped a lot!

Who knew there were so many uses for hydrogen peroxide.

Thank you for the tips.

Hi Terry-

My hubby is a big believer in hp. I will give it a try (but I don't think I can hold it in my mouth for 10 minutes!)   :)

Terry, I knew about some of these uses but not all.  You can also safely use it in your ears...no qutex, though!

Midori, I used to give my dogs garlic powder in their food, to repel fleas.  Seemed to work because we never had a problem.

Joyce, you're welcome.

Kathy, listen to your husband :-)  I dont think I could hold it in my mouth either, although I dip my toothbrush in it then dip it in baking soda, instead of using toothpaste.

Carole, yeah that stuff is good to clear up swimmers ear, which basically is just  a fungus from too much moisture.
