Hello Bobbi & welcome!  This is a great place, but it does take a bit of time to learn your way around and how this place works the best.  Check out the groups, especially the Newbie Group.  There is much to learn there.  If you have any questions, you merely need to ask, someone will have an answer for you. 

Keep reading blogs, as lots of people post a bunch of tips for using Active Rain.  If you're looking for a bit of help in making your blog look like some of those you read, go to NVU.com and download the free software there.  It's a program that works very much like a word processor, you put in what you want, make it look like you want, and then get the html code to paste into your blog.  It works great for those who don't know html code all that well or not at all.  Feel free to call me if you need a bit of help with this.  I wrote a blog on how to use this software.  Just click on my name at the bottom of my reply to go to my page and my contact info is there.  I'll be happy to help if I can!
