Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending some down time with my family. My wife works for an insurance company called Benefit Mall and one of her clients...Delta Dental usually gives us tickets to various sporting events through out the year. Thanks for inviting us!

We were given tickets to the Florida Marlins game. The tickets are usually in one of the indoor luxury boxes and sometimes we get the Bud Beach seats which are located in the Marlins Bullpen out in left field. We've sat there before and you get a different perspective of the game. Her clients make sure that everyone is well taken care of with plenty of food and beverages. It was a great time and we ate plenty of food and drink plenty of liquid refreshments. They also have 3 Jacuzzis so if you ever get the chance to sit there you should not forget your bathing suit. My daughter and her friend decided not to bring their suits but as I told them before we left that they would probably end up going in with their cloths on...and I was right and i almost jumped in myself!

 The game started at 3:55 instead of it's original 7:05 time because of a concert and fireworks show directly after the game but let me tell you that it was not only very hot but the sun was beating down on us and we needed to take a few breaks by going into the Founders club just to cool off but it was still fun.

This guy must be in the front row or he has Bob Uecker seats.

As you can see...these people look like they are baring the heat with enjoyment and you can see the gentleman in front who happens to be my wife's boss so we got to mingle a bit.

My daughter and her friend got to be involved with some of the cheer leaders and they got to be in TV. That's mine on the left next to the cheerleader and on the right side her friend Gabby next to the other cheerleader.

The Marlins have a really large screen TV so the girls got to ham it up on the main screen so everyone could see the two celebs! That's the two of them on the left between cheerleader and DJ DOT

I guess the players felt a little relief ...at least they got a fan blowing on them.

The Marlins one that game and also today's game so they are now only a half game out of first place behind the NY Mets.

We had a great time so when go out and support the local baseball team in your area or come out to see the Florida Marlins in South Florida.
