Spotsylvania County Virginia Days On Market Report - Spotsylvania Real Estate Market Report for June 2008.  MRIS Statistical data for our MLS was just was reported on July 10, 2008 and there were some trends needed to be graphed out for all to see.  Spotsylvania Virginia homes are sitting for a longer time in your neighborhood, and sales are sluggish. It is taking a lot longer to sell homes in Spotsylvania county Virginia these days!

I compiled a comparative graph for June 2005 - June 2008 for Spotsylvania Virginia homes that shows the days on market needed to sell the average homes in Spotsylvania Virginia.  This June 2008 it took an average of 132 days on market to sell a home.  Compared to June 2005 that is a major increase.  In 2005 it only took 29 days to sell homes in Spotsylvania VirginiaThat is a 78% increase in marketing time.  The longer it takes to sell a home in Spotsylvania in this market you are actually losing money.  Property values are flat and dropping in most areas.  The longer a home sits on the market, the more a sell has to lose.
