Stafford County Virginia Days On Market Report - Stafford Real Estate Market Report for June 2008.  MRIS Statistical data for our MLS was just was reported on July 10, 2008 and there were some trends needed to be graphed out for all to see.  Stafford Virginia homes are sitting for a longer time in your neighborhood and sales are sluggish. It is taking a lot longer to sell homes in Stafford county Virginia these days!

I compiled a comparative graph for June 2005 - June 2008 for Stafford Virginia homes that shows the days on market needed to sell the average homes in Stafford Virginia.  This June 2008 it took an average of 110 days on market to sell a home which was down slightly from June of 2007 when it was 114 days.  Compared to June 2005 that is a major increase.  In 2005 it only took 24 days to sell homes in Stafford VirginiaThat is a 74% increase in marketing time.  The longer it takes to sell a home in Stafford in this market you are actually losing money.  Property values are flat and dropping in most areas.  The longer a home sits on the market, the more a sell has to lose.
