Still having fun here. It helps to have good, solid relationships with all the players who could help with a possible real estate transaction. The City's Historic Preservation Planner is working with me - and can't wait to see the property I saw and wrote about yesterday herself.
You see, if someone wants to go through the designation process for this home as an individual site in West Palm Beach then they can take advantage of the City of West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County ad valorem tax exemption (10 years of not being taxed on the value of the improvements to the property). That's huge! And to still find a little gem of something special and different...it makes it more valuable on the market.
