Rancho Santa Margarita's Central Park is a perfect place to unwind at the end of the day.  The park is situated next to City Hall on La Miranda, near El Paseo. Wide-open grassy areas are ideal for tossing around a football or brushing up on frisbee skills.  The popular tot-lot is a favorite with parents and kids alike. While the wee ones are burning off a seemingly endless supply of energy, work-weary parents can grab a seat on one of the many conveniently located benches, and strike up a conversation with other park-going parents.

Central Park is the perfect place to take a break from the daily routine and enjoy dinner out.  Bring sandwiches from home, throw a couple of patties on the grill, or pick something up from one of the many popular restraurants in the adjoining plazas.

After dinner, take a quick stroll across the park toward city hall, to visit the Bocce ball court.  This upscale dirt court is the only one in the area.

Another unique feature at Central Park is the enclosed skating facility that is aptly named Skate Central.  Designed for roller-hockey, this facility includes stadium risers for game fans. Bring your skates, your hockey stick and get ready to play!
