With the Florida market continuing to decline and the mortgage market getting tougher and tougher to make a living it is time for me to make a move.  To dispel and rumors that maybe floating around ON AR I have gone back to my old business which is GM Commercial & Fleet at one of the largest Dealers in South Florida.  I will still be able to do mortgages, but now it will be more of a part-time job rather than full-time.

I will not be leaving AR but now more of my posts will be based on some advantages GM has to offer especially when dealing with a Commercial Sales person.

I wish everyone on Activerain the very best and know the market will turn.  However, the mortgage market down here has just gotten to tough for now especially when it comes to brokers.

On the bright side I do ship anywhere in the USA. (hint, hint, hint)

I look forward to posting more about information on the programs available for large and small companies that can help your company grow.

Matthew ~

We never got to know one another here in AR. When I first came to AR we briefly corresponded but nothing further. I trust you made the right decision and hope you make tons of money with GM.

We haven't crossed paths much, but I wish you luck nonetheless.  Unfortunately, this market is taking some of the good along with the bad.

Andrew, Thank you

Hugh, I understand and Toyota is a great product. Actually some of your information maybe wrong though.  First off. Toyota has annoucned they dropped all full size trucks from their line up. Also Ford has placed a hold on the 09 F-150 which leaves GM.  While sales are down on these type trucks. Companies on the other hand still need them.  Plus GM has shifted to produce more Fuel efficient trucks for their customers. (Better than Toyota, Dodge, Nissan, and Ford).  In addition I am in the Commercial and Fleet department where NAFA has predicted that sales for Fleets will actually be strong this year because so many companies held off replacing older units that they now need to start to replacing them.  I wish you the best with Toyota I know they make a great product.

Steve, I will be back posting more and more stuff..for everyone.:-)

Hi Matt,

Long time no see  lol...  Love the song...I bit the dust 6 months ago...I'm now working in Loss Mitigation.  It's keeping me extremely busy, which is why I haven't been involved in AR for a while.   And it's nice to have a steady paycheck  :)   Like you, I still have my license and still do mortgages part time.  Just because we're reinventing our careers doesn't mean we're not there. I haven't posted in months, yet I just got an email from someone interested in buying in Palm Beach County

Wishing you the best and let's keep in touch.  Cheryl

Matt,

Good luck in the new job! Do you know what the condo financing market is doing now in Florida? How hard to get a mortgage to buy a condo there in Florida? Has there been any relief on taxes and insurance?
