All I did was change the bedding & add 1 lamp & 1 picture - boy's bedroom

In this example I wanted to show Realtors and Homeowners  that Home Staging can be done on a very limited budget to get maximum impact when marketing a home for sale.

The boys bedroom in Thornton was given a complete makeover by changing the bedding to a neutral colour, adding one lamp  in the room and hanging one piece of artwork that the Homeowner had in another location in the house.

Advantage Staging will market your property to stand out from the competition every time.

Investment, minimal.

Impact, priceless.

Hi Amy, Inexpensive is the key word. The bedding was $ 20, the accent cushion was $ 7 and the lamp was

$ 20.

It really is all about how you put them together and that is what Staging is all about. Presentation and marketing a product for sale.

HI Amy, Neutral is the way to make money selling Real Estate. It lets the size of the room shine through. As soon as you put a dark colour anywhere it draw your eye to it.  And it just so happens to usually fall in the centre of a room making your eye go there instead of to the farthest point away in the room.

Notice I placed a dark picture on the wall to take the eye to the farthest wall away.

Hi Cheryl, I understand completely what you mean. Why people cannot see this difference is sometimes hard to fathom on our part as Stagers but it has to be like any other profession. When you see it all the time it seems natural to you. When it is not your profession you marvel at how talented other people are at what they do. This just happens to be something that we are talented at and thank goodness, we love what we do. :)
