LookUpPage is a site that is designed for you to make an online profile about yourself. By creating a profile on LookUpPage when someone Googles your name there will a direct link to your profile page at the top of the search results.
As I have written many times in the past, a site like this is great because your are able to create within your profile backlinks to your website and blogs. The easiest way to show you what I mean is for you to look at my profile page at the site. You can see Bill Gassett's LookUpPage here. You will notice that I have added a number of websites and blogs with proper keyword anchor text.
Once Google comes and visits my profie page they will also recognize the other links I have added to my page. These are called inbound or backlinks. Along with the content you create, backlinks are one of the most important factors for making your sites rank well in the search engines!
So go ahead and make a profile...You will have another site in the search engines that consumers can find you at.
