Inman Bloggers Connect - Part 2

When you are going on a long trip, you expect to get your nails done mid-stream. Or...if I'm going to L.A., well you just get your pedicure and nails done as soon as you arrive. But when you are going to be sitting in a conference for days with no time for touch ups...

You have to break out the Sally Hansen NO CHIP 10 day Nail Color. We only need it to be half as true as its name...but just to be sure, choose a light color like this one "Infinite Natural" so chips aren't as noticeable. Plus I have one broken nail...and everyone is less likely to notice if I don't paint them bright coral like last year when they were perfecto.

What excellent advice, Ardell. You are a fountain of beauty knowledge. I always have to go with deep red on the toes, but your choice is perfect for the broken nail situation. Well done!

I don't get away very often...I'm enjoying the pre-down time.

Someone needs to tell that guy in the video that the beige blouse doesn't go with his red nailpolish before he gets to the diner.

Neal, One of the funniest things my girlfriends and I did to a guy who passed out drunk, was paint his toenails red and put his socks and shoes back on. A week later he was hunting us down to find out how to get it off and his girlfriend was really ticked off. He didn't know and got into bed with her. The next morning there was hell to pay. I thought he was going to strangle me and his girlfriend was so mad she wouldn't tell him how to get rid of it.

I'm totally with you on the deep red for the toes. But I ripped my big toenail off months ago...so no pedicure or open toe shoes this trip.

Ardell, I am cringing and wincing at the very thought of ripping a toenail off! Yikes and OUCH! Best wishes for full healing by next pedicure season. Maybe by then, I'll make it to one of these events and we can do each other's hair.
