What an eclectic mix of talent! Sure makes for an interesting concert series...I'd love to see the audience make-up for Grand Funk Railroad--and have a "back in the day" photo of each of the concert goers to compare to what they look like today!

Sounds like a fun lineup! I hope you get to go to some of them, especially Grand Funk Railroad...We're An American Band! I'm with Kim wonder if they still look like they do in the video...I doubt it!

Looks like lots of fun. I haven't been to Smith Mountain Lake in years. It is beautiful. Have you been to Floydfest. It's coming up this weekend. Wish I could go.

Wow -- this looks like a great series.  I love the summer here in New Hampshire because there are a lot of free or low cost concerts.  Enjoy.

Heidi, that's great!!! Megan just saw ABBA outside of Boston Friday night. I've got showings tomorrow morning and a walk through, maybe we can get together in the afternoon and I'll show you how to post your listings.

This past weekend I had a most distressing experience at Mariner's Landing The Point,  We stayed overnight in one of the condo and were fined $200 for smoking on the balcony!  Meanwhile others strolled by smoking on the sidewalk by the balcony and in the pool area with no fines assessed!  How disappointing to find that money making scams are not confined to less affluent areas.  Even the rich try to stick it to you!  Needless to say we won't be staying at Mariner's Landing again.  What a rip off!

Betty, I'm sorry you had a disappointing experience. As I don't smoke, I don't think about the lack of smoking space. If they didn't explain their policy upfront and others were allowed to smoke, that would be pretty frustrating.

I had family staying at the Pointe that weekend and they complained to us about smoke and ashes coming into their balcony from people smoking. The rule clearly states no smoking in the units and that includes the balcony. Smoking outside the building is permitted . . . I would not consider this a scam. We have stayed there more than a dozen times and never experienced anyone smoking in the buildings. If smoking in your unit is important, there are other places that would welcome that . . . but not here please . . .
