Are you a first time home buyer?
Would you like to be on Real Estate Talk and tell us about your experiences?
Real Estate Talk on 1580 KGAL is now taking applications for participants in the My First House Radio show. The applicant selected will work with Dave through the process of finding and buying their first home and spend time with him on the show each week talking about how things went - good and bad.
Once selected, you'll spend an entire show with Dave being introduced to the listeners of Real Estate Talk - we'll talk about getting you in the right financial position to maximize your home buying leverage, we'll get to understand what the perfect house for YOU is...and then we'll put the wheels in motion.
Each week thereafter, you'll either stop by the station or call in and give our listeners an update of how its going. Did we find the house? Did you write an offer? What were you confused about? How did the negotiations go? Did your offer get accepted - and how did it feel?
Our listeners will follow you and Dave through the entire process - and we'll be there cheering you on when you get your keys!
*** We also have a local home inspector who is going to donate a Pest and Dry Rot Inspection! Yeah!
If you are interested in participating contact Dave at realestatetalk@kgal.com with your answers to these questions:
- Have you EVER owned a home before?
- Are you currently working with a Realtor to find a home?
- Have you spoken with a local lender (bank, mortgage broker...) about pre-qualification or pre-approval?
- If yes, who did you speak with?
- Is it OK if we contact them to discuss your situation?
- Will you be available on Saturday's (and the occasional Thursday) to give our listeners a 10 minute or so update on how things are going throughout the process?
- If you are a couple - are both of you willing to participate in the radio show?
- Please tell us in 500 words or less WHY you would like to participate.
