Simple, fix problems before they become nightmares. Every homeowner, buyer and/or seller at one time or another has had to face a home inspection. I definitely agree, especially looking at it from the angle of the person doing the repairs.  Having a professional come in and fix problems before a home goes on the market is much better than having a huge list of call outs from a home inspector, and often times saves money because the problem hasn't been allowed to get bad, and doesn't have to be done on an emergency basis.

Planning ahead and being pro-active almost always pays big rewards!

Exactly Chris!! A home is like a car. If it is maintained well usually there are no big surprises or breakdowns in the long run.
