5 Comments on Some buyers think they own the house long before closing...
I hear you !
a few years ago, my buyer took off a whole day from work because it was the day of closing. Closing was scheduled for 5 pm and the buyer wanted to do the walk thru early in the morning, I could not accompany him because his mortgage was falling apart and it looked like we were not going to close.
Long story short my assistant drove by the house late afternoon (by accident) and was surprised to see all the appliances and furniture and cabints and doors and and and on the street.
The buyer had started to remodeled the home. . . . . . .
Glad to be the first to comment on this one. It's all too often that buyers feel they own a house before closing. You wouldn't take all the tags off of a new outfit and wear it aroundthe store as you continue shopping... would you?
wow Anne,
Then I guess I don't have it so bad lol.
If I was selling my house and someone started mowing my lawn I think I would faint. No one has ever offered to mow my lawn for free!
Thanks for the great advice. I will check back often. I really like the blog. I am new at blogging but I am beginning to learn quite a bit from reading blogs like the ones I find on Active Rain. If I can ever be of help just visit my blog or my website: http://yournowwhat.com
Thanks, Terry
