It seems that the letter "P" provides us with some strong encouragement. We have covered Patience and Perseverance in the last two and now comes positive attitude. It never really ceases to amaze me when things like this flow together.

Today in our industries of Real Estate and Mortgages there is a need for all three of these traits more than ever. The people that possess all three and practice them will be the successors in the market place. We have to have patience in order to persevere and that requires a positive attitude. I truly do not know any way to say that any better.

I hope that you find something of inspiration in the quotes below. If you would like to check out some other worlds, feel free to click on the pictures and take a magical carpet ride.

"Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don't hang around long enough for his or her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people."
Zig Ziglar

"Be conscious of your attitude. Work extra hard at keeping your attitude positive in all kinds of weather, through all the challenges of life."
Catherine Pulsifer, from All Is Going Well?

"Positive anything is better than negative nothing."
Elbert Hubbard

"Keep on going and the chances are you will stumble on something, perhaps when you are least expecting it.
I have never heard of anyone stumbling on something sitting down."
Charles F. Kettering

"Having a positive mental attitude is asking how something can be done rather than saying it can't be done."
Bo Bennett

"A 'positive attitude' is definitely one of the keys to success. My definition of a positive attitude is a simple one: Looking for the good in all circumstances.
Catherine Pulsifer, from Authors Introduction (partial) to Wings of Wisdom

"Any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude toward it, for that determines our success or failure."
Norman Vincent Peale

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living; the world owes you nothing; it was here first."
Mark Twain

Great post. . .There is another book out there titled, "The Secret" that I also like.  It is available in video as well.  There are a number of interviews with the great spiritual minds that are shuffling across the planet - from many creeds.  The book is about using the Law of Attraction, to draw to you those things important.

Chuck, glad that you liked them.

Charlie, glad to see you around again.

Leander, be careful what you wish for. I think we will be there in the next month or two.

Ken, that it was.

Evelyn, someone has to counter what the media is saying.

Myrl, Positive Affirmation and the Law of Attraction are my two favorite. People do not use them near enough.

I love the quote from Zig.  I've always been a positive person, looking for the best in others and in every situation.  I used to spend great amounts of time trying to give others a hand out of the ditch, only to learn that they would usually pull me down in there with them.  I've learned that it is almost impossible to pull someone out of their ditch, they have to want to climb out.  Show a bit of encouragement, but if they insist on staying there, it's time to move on.

One question...how about those people who wind up married to the person Zig mentioned?  Obviously, they can't get away from problem, what can they do since it is impossible to change a negative minded person?  Spend more time away from home and with other like-minded people?

Gregory, I guess the first question would have to be, if they are so negative, why marry them in the first place?

That is quit the powerful triumvirate of quote topics! I am happy to say that the vast majority of blogger I have encountered on AR are positive people and that really set AR apart from much of the blogosphere.

It always pays to stay positive than negative. One thing I have learned especially this election year is to avoid all negativity.

Love the Mark Twain's quote and agree with it: the world does not owe anyone a thing!  We are here to earn our living and happiness by working hard and giving the best of us to life. You will get back everything you give - so be careful how you treat people and life!
