Dale - It really is a neat place to visit. The kids went over there last week. I had been over to Bandera for an inspection and went by there on my way home a couple days ago. It is just a nice place to take the family and kids loved it. (I think David and Susie did also).

It's about as Texas as you can get with the old west town.

Carl, this does look like it is about as Texas as it is going to get.  I know I've never seen the town itself.  I'll have to add it to my to do list.  Is there another exotic animal ranch in the area or is this the only one?  I remember visiting a drive through safari type ranch that was close to a cave, yet in the general direction of Bandara - which was the place I was actually going to.  They had zebras (one bit me)

Do you know what place I am referring to?  Or is this part of the same ranch?

Sondra - I wrote a blog awhile back (see link) about Cascade Caverns. They also have a Wildlife Ranch that you drive through but it is located off Hwy46 west of New Braunfels on FM3009.

I believe there is one over close to Boerne, maybe Cascade Caverns but I don't know if they have a Wildlife Drive.
