I'm a huge fan of Major League Baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals. I was at the game the other night, great seats.

What does St. Louis Real Estate and the St. Louis Cardinals have in common?

This is a stretch (pun intentded).

I always try and make correlations between random items. The commonality is that they always come back!

The Cardinals recently came from behind to win 4 in a row. They always kept faith that they could turn things around.

Thats my feeling on the st. louis real estate market. Things will, and are, turning around. Sure, it will take longer than 9 innings, but we will start seeing the light.

While its a tough time to sell your house, its certainly a great time to buy one. My opinion is that the market is only half bad. It's bad for the seller, but great for the buyer. This certainly is not the first buyers market we've ever had, nor will it be the last. 

I think 2008 will continue to be a bit stale, but 2009 will show signs of life.

Anyone have any thoughts?
