No kidding!  I'm going to have to try that next time I'm out and those bugs are biting.  We certainly get a lot of misquitos down here in south Florida.  Thanks for the tip!

Bill/Barbara, thanks for the tip. I hate getting bit by mosquitos. btw, when i was in college (embry-riddle), I had a coop work study semester at Monroe County Mosquito control in Marathon Florida. I don't think we knew that back then.

Now how does that work? Also if I put a box of them on a table at a picnic will everyone be free of bites?

I'll have to try that. I love working out in the yard and hate always having to spray myself down with bug repellent. The dryer sheets sound like a great alternative!

Peter - we get new info all the time and it is great to share!

Ellie - I don't know if that would work - let us know if it does - if not, everyone can put a dryer sheet in their pocket!

Gita - Sharing this info is a good thing!

Laura - I hate spraying bug spray on myself too!

Julie - If not, run to a convenience store and get a small box!

Interesting I give laundry sheets a try.  I often use Absorbine Jr. for pesty gnats on the golf course, it also acts as a bug repellent.

That is a priceless tip.  I get eaten alive by mosquitoes.  I sure hope it works.  I'm so tired of the welts and the itching.

We use Bounce sheets in our northern Michigan woods.  In the spring and all summer long the mosquitoes, no see um's,  and black flies keep their distance. I wonder if all dryer sheets work or just Bounce sheets?
