Keller Williams Realty Northeast (located in Kingwood TX) will be presenting the Denim and Diamonds Gala benefiting the Family Time Crisis and Counseling Center on New Year's Eve Wednesday, December 31st 2008.  The event will begin at 8:00 pm and end at 1:00 am and will be held at the Marriott Hotel at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Family Time Crisis and Counseling Center provides free crisis intervention, counseling, support groups, and legal advocacy to all victims of crime including family violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.

Family Time Crisis and Counseling Center is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which was founded in 1977.  Family Time is staffed by trained professionals and governed by a voluntary Board of Directors.

 How they are funded...

All or part of Family Time's programs are funded through the following sources:

• 48% comes from government agencies including the Texas Health and Human Services Commission; the Emergency Food and Shelter Program - Phase XXVI; the Governor's Office; Criminal Justice Department; the Office of the Attorney General; and Harris County Community Services.

• 6% comes from the United Way of Greater Houston.

• 25% is generated by Family Time's Thrift Shop.

• 1% comes from program service fees.

• The remaining 20% comes from local service organizations, corporations, fundraisers, religious entities, and foundations.
