              RUN don't walk to your chosen Real Estate Agent/Broker.  To most first time   and second or third time around buyers, the process of buying a home may over whelm you, and you just don't know where to start.  This series of RUN, don't walk is for you; I hope to help take the mystery out of the home buying process for you.

                Choose a real estate agent that has an ABR Accreditation, (Accredited Buyers Representative).  They have taken the time to continue their education regarding the home buying process, which shows their commitment to you that they will have your best interests in mind.   

Top agents take the time for professional development, help to sharpen their skills, increase their knowledge, and recognize the need for continuing education to better serve their clients.

Particularly, for a first time home buyer finding a real estate professional that can help them navigate through the home buying process smoothly is of utmost importance, this is the beginning of a journey that should be enjoyable and as stress free as possible.  Interview them, ask questions, they will be working for YOU!  There's more to becoming a homeowner in today's market than just looking in the MLS.

Be sure to sign an agency agreement with that person, so that you will be assured of their commitment to you and your confidences will be kept between the two of you, and you will also be committing to that agent of your genuine interest in purchasing a home, this is a contract between the agent and potential buyer.
