Today is my 14Th Wedding Anniversary! It is really hard to believe I have been married for that many years. I remember my wedding day like it was yesterday. It is true what they say, the years will fly by after you have kids!

Well here I am, 14 years, 2 kids, 2 dogs and 3 houses later. I couldn't ask for a better life.

So I am writing to say "Happy Anniversary" to my husband Steve. Thank you for making my life so wonderful.

Steve and I have actually been together for 18 years. We met just out of college. We both were working at a local Casino in Reno. We dated for two years before deciding it was time to get married. So we set the date for July 23, 1994, and never looked back.

Our children are in the 6th grade. They are twins, Alec and Kenna. They bring so much to our lives. It has been amazing watching them grow up. Amazing and scary at the same time!

Steve works for the City of Reno. He is a  Captain for the Fire Department. He is working tonight. That is why I am at my computer and not out to dinner celebrating. Steve has worked very hard and studied many hours to get to the position he is in today.  My children and I are very, very proud of the sacrifices he has made  for our family!
