Welcome Melanie!  Be sure to "blog" your listings to get them exposure and search engine placement!  I think that's about the only thing I can think of that hasn't been mentioned. I use "postlets.com" (which is free) to create my e-flyer/code for my blogs.  Feel free to ask if you have any questions!  Enjoy... and try not to get addicted! =o)

There is no golden bullet, and there is no crash course. This is not a bad news, I think this is a good news.

A lot of us made mistakes at the beginning. If you can take your time and just watch for some time, you will start figuring things out. You will see what is of interest to you, and what is not. A good idea is to click on groups and surf through them picking those that could be of interest. I would not suggest that you subscribe, but I would suggest that you go back and read the posts in the groups that you find interesting.

Another great way to learn is to follow the featured posts and when you really like someone's posts, read more of them and also watch which groups this blogger posts to, and there is a very good chance that you would love to be a member of the same groups.

There is a ton of stuff on this site. Have you found anything interesting yet?  Maybe we should figure out how to start a Caledon or Bolton area so local agents can share some info.  Just a thought.  What do you think?
