According to FOX news this afternoon...the market has hit rock bottom and things are changing for the better.

The fact that gas prices for the most part have declined is a good thing.

The fact that FOX news is saying the market is down and done, and is on an incline is fantastic news...

This in itself is why people should take the time to consider buying a home NOW while prices are still low.

I see many investor's scrambling to make last minute deals...as they know as well...it's over...the bottom is here and they better take advantage right now!

If you need help now and want a great deal before prices change...call me Karen Monsour.Realtor(r)..954-464-4194...

Karen I think you are correct.  And with possible loan changes taking place on August 15th now is the time.  I had mentioned to one of my clients recently that it appeared to me in the Louisville market the days of real estate freebies are going away..Realtors are listing their homes at a more realistic price.  I think we are on the way out of the real estate decline!!!

Sacramento is still seeing record numbers of foreclosures, but if you have some staying power  it is a good time to buy, property is getting cheap!

Jeff,

I think so as well and I feel the same way...It seem's no one is negotiating down too much anymore in South Florida...at least the one's that are not in a short sale or foreclosure situation...

Robert,

I think it's over...we in Broward County, FL were in a very depressed state...it's changing as we speak...which is good news.

I hope they listen. Most people will wait and wait...until it has started the incline for a while!

Absolutely!!  I can't beging to count the buyers who call on listings that are already under contract or foreclosures that already have multiple offers.

Leave it to Fox to report something positive. You sure won't see anything positive out of CNN. If you find that link, I'd like to see it too. Thanks Karen.

It was on Wednesday during the segment called the "Live Desk" around 3pm. I tried to look back however this was a live interview.  I cannot find a link to that...it was like improptu conversation with the business guy they have on there sometimes.

There are more articles coming out each day that are highlighting some of the brighter spots. Many of them deal with the fact that numbers are holding- or not falling by as much as predicted. Some numbers are actually improving- such as condo sales. I think this coming month will tell us a great deal. Decisions will have been made about down payment assistance possibly going away and being replaced by tax credits. There are other potential loan programs that could be difference makers as well. It is a very interesting time to be an agent right now... it seems like the models that we've relied on for so long have to be looked at differently each day.
